We believe in helping our customers as far as possible, and have adopted a customer-friendly cancellation and refund policy. This applies to all subscription plans on Unqode SmartQR.
1. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel your subscription any time from Settings → Billing. Upon cancellation:
• Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period • You keep access to all paid features until then • No further charges are made after the current period ends • You can resubscribe at any time
2. 7-day money-back guarantee
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on all new subscriptions. If you're not satisfied with Unqode SmartQR for any reason, request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase by emailing billing@unqode.com. This applies only to first-time subscribers of a given plan.
3. Pro-rated refunds
If you cancel after the 7-day guarantee period, you may be eligible for a pro-rated refund in cases such as: extended technical issues that prevented access, service outages lasting more than 24 hours, or billing errors and duplicate charges. These are evaluated case-by-case, based on the unused portion of your subscription.
4. Non-refundable scenarios
Refunds aren't provided for: subscription renewals beyond the initial 7-day period, cancellations made after the guarantee period (unless eligible for a pro-rated refund above), failure to cancel before renewal, or account suspension due to a Terms of Service violation.
5. How to request a refund
Email billing@unqode.com with your account email and subscription details. We review requests within 2-3 business days. If approved, the refund is issued to your original payment method via Razorpay and typically reflects in your account within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank.
6. Billing issues
If you're charged twice, charged an incorrect amount, notice a charge you didn't authorise, or were charged despite a failed payment, email billing@unqode.com immediately — we'll investigate and refund as appropriate.
7. Plan upgrades and downgrades
Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately via a new subscription. Downgrading to a lower tier (including to Free) is handled by cancelling your current subscription — access continues until the end of the paid period, then your account moves to the new tier with no partial refund for the remaining time.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of Unqode SmartQR after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
