App Store QR with iOS/Android smart redirect
The App Store QR type detects whether the scanner is on iOS or Android and redirects them to the appropriate store automatically. Desktop visitors see both download links on a landing page.
Setup
- Go to Dashboard → Create QR Code.
- Select App Store.
- Enter your iOS App Store URL (from apps.apple.com) and/or your Google Play Store URL (from play.google.com).
- Optionally add your app name and icon URL for the desktop landing page.
- Click Create QR Code.
How the redirect works
- iOS device — redirected directly to your App Store listing
- Android device — redirected directly to your Google Play listing
- Desktop / unknown — shown a landing page with both download buttons
ℹ️ You can enter just one store URL if your app is only available on one platform. Devices from the unsupported platform will fall through to the desktop landing page showing only the available store.
Finding your store URLs
In the App Store, navigate to your app → Share → Copy Link. In Google Play, navigate to your app → Share → Copy Link. Paste each URL into the appropriate field.
