Understanding your scan analytics
Every scan of a dynamic QR code is automatically tracked. Your analytics dashboard shows you who scanned, when, where, and on what device — giving you the data to make better decisions about your campaigns.
Total scans vs unique scans
Total scans counts every scan event, including repeat visits from the same device. Unique scans counts distinct IP addresses — a single phone scanning the same code 5 times counts as 1 unique scan.
Analytics window by plan
- Free — last 7 days of data visible
- Pro — last 365 days of data visible
- Business — unlimited history, all data retained forever
Metrics available
- Scans over time — daily scan count charted on a timeline
- By device — Android, iOS, Desktop, Other
- By country — top countries with flag and percentage breakdown
- By operating system — iOS version, Android version, macOS, Windows, etc.
- By browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, Samsung Browser, etc.
- By hour of day — UTC-based distribution across 24 hours
- By day of week — Sunday through Saturday distribution
Viewing analytics
Go to Dashboard → Analytics for an overview of all your QR codes. Or open a specific QR code and click the Analytics tab to see data for that code alone. Use the date range picker to focus on a specific time period.
ℹ️ Analytics data is processed in real time. You'll typically see a scan appear in your dashboard within a few seconds of it occurring.
