Creating a vCard contact QR code
A vCard QR code encodes your contact information so that anyone who scans it can instantly save you to their phone's address book — no manual typing required.
What information can I include?
- Full name and organisation
- Job title
- Phone numbers (mobile, work, home)
- Email addresses
- Website URL
- Physical address
- Notes
Creating a vCard QR code
- Go to Dashboard → Create QR Code.
- Select vCard Contact.
- Fill in your contact details — only Name is required, all other fields are optional.
- Click Create QR Code.
How scanning works
When scanned, the device downloads a .vcf file. The user is prompted to add it to their contacts. On iOS, this opens the Contacts app directly. On Android, the user may be asked to select a contact app.
Updating vCard details
Because this is a dynamic QR code, you can update the contact information at any time without reprinting. This is useful if your phone number or email changes after you've already printed business cards.
💡 Put your vCard QR code on your business card, email signature, or LinkedIn profile banner so new contacts can save your details in one tap.
